Note: for drilling use carbide tools

GRINDING
Grinding is recommended for alloys with hardnesses higher than RC 55. Alundum type of wheels are preferable. Grinding speeds of 2800-4000 ft/min are used depending on the alloy and parts. The use of coolants minimize surface cracks.
