Cobalt and Nickel Base Alloys Proven to be the most versatile hardfacing alloys, Weartech's cobalt and nickel based alloys are specially designed to resist a myriad of hostile environments including abrasion, corrosion, galling, oxidation and erosion. They are able to maintain their hardness at temperatures of up to 1500 °F (800 °C) and have been proven to be useful in industries ranging from automobile to aerospace. Compounds in the structure of Weartech alloys that contribute to wear and oxidation resistance are different in different alloy systems. Some of the common alloy systems Weartech offers include Co-Cr-W, Co-Cr-Mo, Co-Mo-Si, Ni-Cr-B, and Ni-Cr-Mo.
